Yazan Al Nasser has extensive work experience in financial roles spanning over several decades. Yazan most recently held the position of Chief Financial and Risk Officer at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) since January 2017. Before that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Emaar Malls from April 2012 to January 2017. Prior to that, Yazan was the Senior Director of Internal Audit at Emaar Properties from January 2006 to March 2012. Yazan also held roles as a Senior Internal Auditor at both Majid Al Futtaim (MAF) and the United Nations (UNRWA) from 2000 to 2006 and 1993 to 2000 respectively. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Administration and Account Officer at Golden Falcon from 1989 to 1993 and as a Senior External Auditor at Ibrahim El Abbasi, External Audit Consultants/Services from 1985 to 1989.

Yazan Al Nasser completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting and Computer Programming at Yarmouk University from 1982 to 1985. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Internal Control Auditor from the Institute of Internal Control in 2005.
