Ross MacDonald is an experienced Developer/Consultant who started their career in 2004 at Vamosa where they worked on new software tools for content governance, developing in Ruby on Rails and Java. Ross then moved on to work as a Ruby on Rails Developer at tictoc in 2010. In 2011, they joined T-Systems as a Senior Applications Developer/Consultant for large transformation-driven projects. Ross covered all aspects of the lifecycle from requirements through implementation, test, and delivery. Their responsibilities included producing business level specifications to ensure project teams and client stakeholders are comfortable with the solution for resolving challenges to meet project deliverables and goals. In 2021, they joined Digital Barriers as a Scrum Master and is responsible for promoting agile practices across multi-functional cloud platform, core, encoder and UX teams, overseeing teams to focus on the delivery of multiple products covering several feature teams, to ensure incremental delivery in agreement with delivery plan and product road map.
Ross MacDonald began their educational journey in 2000, when they enrolled in Glasgow Caledonian University to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering. Ross successfully completed their studies in 2004. In 2018, Ross attended the Scottish Qualifications Authority to obtain a Diploma in Cyber Security. From 2019 to 2021, Ross resumed their studies at Glasgow Caledonian University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security. In March 2021, they received a Certified ScrumMaster certification from Scrum Alliance.
