Luke Sperrin

Luke Sperrin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy and sustainability, currently serving as the Senior Practice Lead at Digital Catapult since January 2025. Luke is also an Aspen UK Rising Leaders Fellow, contributing to bridging societal divides while enhancing leadership awareness and values. As Co-Founder and CTO of H2GO Power from October 2013 to August 2024, Luke played a pivotal role in developing hydrogen storage technologies, raising over £15 million in funding for innovative projects. Luke completed a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge, focusing on material challenges for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells, and holds an MSci and BA in Natural Sciences from the same institution. Prior placements include positions at the Diamond Light Source and the Institute of Cancer Research, highlighting early research interests in synchrotron science and cellular growth.
