Abhay Shah

Abhay Shah is an experienced engineering professional specializing in machine learning and deep learning algorithms, with a current role as Engineering Manager for Machine Learning at Digital Diagnostics since August 2017. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Machine Learning Engineer and R&D Software Engineer, where Abhay developed algorithms for retinal image analysis during a tenure as Assistant Research Scientist at the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Iowa. Abhay also served as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Iowa while pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and gained practical experience through internships at IDx LLC and BSES Delhi. Abhay holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology.
