Björn Hedberg has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Björn began their career as a Programmer at Cellavision AB in 1998 and worked there until 2002. Björn then joined Digital Illusions Canada as a Programmer, where they worked on projects like Battlefield Vietnam and designed and implemented the game audio system. In 2004, they became the Lead Programmer at Digital Illusions Canada for Battlefield Vietnam and managed a team of 6 programmers. In the same year, they moved to DICE (EA Digital Illusions CE AB) and took on various roles, including Lead Audio Programmer for Battlefield bad company 1&2 and later Line Manager for Software Engineering and Audio. Currently, Björn serves as the Technology Craft Director at DICE, leading the rendering and core engine software engineers. Throughout their career, they have focused on performance optimization, networking, and game server optimizations.
