Tom Van Ommeren is an experienced tech lead and software engineer with a strong background in developing user interfaces and gameplay features for renowned games, particularly within the Battlefield franchise at DICE (EA Digital Illusions CE AB). Currently serving as Tech Lead since August 2022, Tom oversees a team responsible for vehicle features in Battlefield 2042 while ensuring software quality and performance. Prior roles include Software Engineer (UI Lead) during the game's production, manager of a UI development team, and earlier positions focused on web and software development across various companies, including Uprise and Tom van Ommeren Consulting.
