Rocky Thurston

As Chief Operating Officer of DMI, Rocky Thurston drives day-to-day company operations and is responsible for overall program delivery excellence and business growth.

Rocky has vast, successful leadership and management experience across the commercial, defense, intelligence, federal civilian, national security, and state and local market segments. He has deep knowledge and experience in software, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, network and analytics. Prior to DMI, Rocky served as the President for the $1.3B Peraton Citizen Security and Public Services business sector.

Prior to Peraton, Rocky held leadership positions of increasing responsibility at Perspecta, Accenture, Lockheed Martin and Booz Allen, where he gained valuable experience in P&L management, business development, capture management, and merger and acquisition activities.

Rocky is a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force with a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the United States Air Force Academy. He also holds an MBA with a concentration in finance.
