Michael Hamill

Michael Hamill has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. Michael began their career in 1993 as the Head Trader/Operations & Technology at Croesus, where they were responsible for over a billion in Emerging Markets Hedge Funds. In 1998, they moved to Schroders & Co. as an Arbitrage Trader, European Equities, where they managed a risk trading book consisting of risk arb, stubs, and share class pairs. In 1999, they took on the role of Head Trader/Operations & Technology at Promethean Investments, where they were responsible for the execution of convertible arb, and PIPE strategies at a billion-dollar hedge fund. In 2003, they became the Head Trader & Technology Lead at Mason Capital Management, where they grew the company from a few hundred million to a multi-billion-dollar hedge fund. In 2016, they became the Head Trader/Operations & Technology at Castle Hook Partners, where they had global trading, operational, and technology responsibilities at a billion+ dollar hedge fund. Finally, in 2019 they took on the role of Managing Director at Digital Prime Technologies.

Michael Hamill attended Trinity College-Hartford where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics.
