Mark Hahnel

Mark Hahnel is a well-established professional in the field of open research, currently serving as the Vice President of Open Research at Digital Science since September 2011. Mark is also an Associate Founder at genomes.io since 2017 and held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Figshare from March 2011 to December 2023. Mark's educational background includes a PhD in Stem Cell Mobilisation from Imperial College London, an MSc in Human Genetics from the University of Leeds, and a BSc in Genetics from Newcastle University.
