Mohamed Ali

Mohamed Ali is the current Chief Technical Officer at Digital Wave Technology. Mohamed has over 20 years of experience in the IT field, with the last 12 years spent as the Chief Information Officer for Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance Company (SAICO). In their time at SAICO, they were responsible for providing health, transportation, fire, engineering, accident, and group life insurance to 450 employees. Mohamed was also responsible for annual revenue growth and annual budget management.

Under their leadership, the company won alignment for IT strategy through collaboration with CEO and key stakeholders. Mohamed also built a state-of-the-art private cloud equipped with the latest servers, storage, network equipment, security appliances, and VMWare virtualization. In addition, they implemented Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Cisco Data Center, and Business intelligence Platform. Mohamed also recruited, trained, managed, and developed a local team of 26 and an offshore team of 20 high-performing engineers.

Mohamed has been recognized for their ability to decrease operational costs by optimizing insurance processes, claims, underwriting, reinsurance, billing, finance, and distribution. Mohamed has also been recognized for their work in mitigating risk by developing robust disaster recovery and business continuation plans and defining IT governance.

Mohamed Ali attended Montana State University-Bozeman, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration and Marketing.
