Creative Prototyper at DigitalFish

Jesse Walton has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2009, Jesse worked as an Associate Preparator at the Oakland Museum of California until 2014. In 2014, Jesse served as both an Artist in Residence at the Kala Art Institute and Chief Preparator at the San Francisco Art Institute. Jesse then went on to be an Artist in Residence at The Wassaic Project and The Desert House Residency in 2017. In 2018, Jesse worked as a Technical Production Assistant at Facebook. The following year, Jesse became an Artist in Residence at The Wassaic Project again and also worked as a Prototyper Project Manager and later a Creative Prototyper at Facebook. Lastly, Jesse held the role of Collections Technical Assistant at SFMOMA San Francisco Museum of Modern Art starting in 2015 and is currently working as a Creative Prototyper at DigitalFish since 2020.

Jesse Walton completed a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Sculpture from the San Francisco Art Institute from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, Jesse earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Printmaking from the University of Iowa, where they studied from 1998 to 2003.
