Ever since accounting software was born, subsequent automation hasbeen largely restricted to custom applications built on top and around accounting software for large enterprises. These help with document exchange (EDI), data capture, and connect the many workflows between a trade document being received/issued and payment. For most part, SMEs (and not just the tiny ones!) and their accounting providers have been left behind. Looking at the accounting cycle, there are large gaps in workflows filled with manual work where software should do the heavy lifting, and Digitoo will take care of it.
