Amares Kumar

Amares Kumar has extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as President (Mining) at Dilip Buildcon Ltd. since January 2021, overseeing mining contracts valued at 2000 crores and managing significant coal mining operations, including the Siarmal coal mines. Prior to this role, Amares was Chief Executive Officer at Nouvelle Gabon Mining, successfully establishing a manganese processing plant and managing the export of manganese in Gabon. As CEO (Mining) at Sadbhav Engineering Limited and Sr. Vice President/Head of Mining at Topworth Group of Companies, Amares directed operations across multiple key projects, including coal and uranium mines. Earlier career roles include Vice President of Mining at Monnet Ispat and Energy Limited, General Manager at Jayaswal Neco Industries, and Manager of Mines at Tata Steel, alongside foundational experience at The Singareni Collieries Company. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mining from Nagpur University, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Commerce and Trade, a First Class Mine Manager certificate, and a Doctorate in Management.
