Ievgen Kurylo

Ievgen Kurylo is a skilled Development Engineer at Morphotonics since July 2024, with a strong background in engineering and research. Previously, Kurylo served as a Process Engineer at Leia Inc. from June 2022 to July 2024 and as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Eindhoven University of Technology, focusing on LC polymer-based smart materials for haptic applications, achieving significant advancements in modulus change and response time. Kurylo also held a Postdoctoral Research Scientist position at Université catholique de Louvain, where research involved the assembly of enzymatic nanotubes and nanostructured membranes, along with teaching responsibilities in General Chemistry. Earlier experience includes a PhD Researcher role at IEMN CNRS and a Research Assistant position, concentrating on enzymatic-driven DNA systems and surface functionalization for biochemical detection, respectively, as well as a Research Engineer role at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, developing analytical methods for toxic compound analysis. Kurylo earned a PhD in Engineering, specializing in Micro & Nano Technologies, from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology.
