Sylvain Zimmer

Sylvain Zimmer currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer of La Suite territoriale at the Direction interministérielle du numérique (DINUM), focusing on creating an open-source online workspace for public service employees in France. Previously, Zimmer held leadership roles at Contentsquare, including Head of the CTO Office and Senior Staff Software Engineer, and contributed to the growth of key projects and acquisitions. As the Founder of dotConferences, Zimmer organized innovative technology events in Paris and continued as Curator after the company's acquisition by Welcome to the Jungle. Zimmer also co-founded Pricing Assistant, acquired by Contentsquare, and Jamendo, the largest Creative Commons music community, before its acquisition by AudioValley. Additionally, Zimmer has served as an investor and advisor for several tech startups, including BeReal and Sketchfab, and was recognized as a Google Developer Expert. Zimmer holds a PhD in Computer Science from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble.
