Ben Nichols has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ben started their career as an Insurance Research Intern at Conning, where they conducted research and data analysis for the publication of periodicals. Ben then worked as an Analytics Intern at International Business Machines (IBM), providing maintenance and technical support.

Nichols then joined Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as a Business Portfolio and Risk Management Analyst, overseeing deliverable timelines and milestone tracking for projects. Ben later became a Business Analytics Manager, leading the analysis of a content recommendation platform for financial advisors.

After that, Nichols worked as a Data Analyst at Welcome (formerly ChatID), before joining CB4 as a Data Science Solutions Engineer and Team Lead. During their time at CB4, they scaled up the team and implemented the company's solution in global enterprise and mid-market companies. Ben then became the Director of Global Customer Insights, developing analytical solutions and contributing to the company's growth and funding.

Nichols also worked as an Adjunct Professor of Data Science at Syracuse University, sharing their knowledge and expertise with students. Currently, they are the Head of Product at directlink, where they are responsible for leading the product strategy and development.

Ben Nichols earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from SUNY Geneseo from 2009 to 2012. In 2017, Ben completed a Data Science Fellowship at The Data Incubator.
