Ricky Swaim, EI, is a Design Engineer at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations since February 2022, following previous experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at BENTELER Group, where responsibilities included daily system monitoring and assisting with projects and equipment repairs. Prior to engineering, Ricky Swaim served as a Critical Care Paramedic with Acadian Ambulance for nearly a decade, focusing on patient assessment and treatment planning while also supervising new paramedics. Ricky Swaim holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an Associate's degree in Emergency Medical Technology from South Louisiana Community College.
