Miguel Gaeta

Miguel Gaeta is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in mobile and UI development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Engineering Manager at Discord since March 2015, Miguel has been instrumental in building the Discord Android client, accumulating over 500,000 downloads. Previous roles include Mobile UI Engineer at Hammer and Chisel, where contributions were made to the iPad game Fates Forever, and Lead UI Engineer at Storm8, focusing on the Loop messenger project. Additionally, Miguel co-founded Gamers Portal, a social platform for gamers, and worked as a Front-End Developer at FireSnake Labs, specializing in JavaScript-driven web projects. Miguel holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
