David Sutter

David Sutter is a seasoned financial services executive with extensive experience in risk management, compliance, and operational excellence at Discover Financial Services since January 2004. In various roles including Vice President of Discover Student Loans, Corporate Risk Officer, and Chief Information Security Officer, David has successfully managed compliance initiatives, enhanced risk management frameworks, and implemented significant accounting and technological advancements. Prior to Discover, David held the position of Vice President - Global Audit Director at Morgan Stanley. David holds an MBA in Finance from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago, a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan, and completed an Executive Program in Risk Management at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
