Pradeep Vallanur Ramesh

Pradeep Vallanur Ramesh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fraud risk management and data science. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Fraud Risk at Discover Financial Services since February 2019, Pradeep is responsible for comprehensive fraud risk management, including KYC for a range of Discover products, while leading a diverse team of over 140 professionals. Prior to this role, Pradeep held various vice president positions at American Express from May 2003 to January 2019, overseeing global fraud strategy, ID theft risk management, and data science initiatives. Pradeep holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and additional degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Physics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
