Sarah Olthoff is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and compliance. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Business Risk Officer at Discover Financial Services since October 2020, Sarah previously held various leadership roles at Capital One from February 1999 to October 2020, including Vice President and Compliance Officer, as well as Senior Risk Manager. Sarah holds an MBA from the College of William & Mary Mason School of Business and a BA in Government/Political Science from William & Mary, earned in May 1994. Sarah is recognized for expertise in business risk assessment and regulatory compliance, holding certifications as a CRCM, CIPP, and CAMS.
