Dispelix
As the CTO for Dispelix and Docent (Adjunct Professor) at UEF in the field of micro- and nanophotonics fabrication, Ismo is an expert in electron beam lithography with more than ten years of hands-on experience in lithography and working in the clean room. He is an expert in fabrication process development and optimization, especially in electron beam lithography and post-processing techniques. Ismo has a broad theoretical knowledge of photonics and modern optics.
Ismo has theoretical and experimental expertise in X-ray optics and applications designing and conducting experiments at large-scale facilities, such as Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (Germany), Swiss Light Source (Switzerland), Hard X-ray free-electron laser at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory (USA), Diamond Light Source (United Kingdom), and Synchrotron Soleil (France).
Ismo is a graduate of University of Eastern Finland with multiple degrees.
