Oliver Bock began their work experience in 1996 at CISRA, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer and played a key role in the design and leadership of the PhotoRecord v1.0 and v1.1 projects. In 2000, they joined RBS Global Banking & Markets as a Software Engineer, working on the maintenance of an existing repo trading system and co-writing a price-making system for the gilts desk. In 2002, they co-founded Now Figure Pty Ltd and served as a Cofounder until 2008. From 2005 onwards, they worked as a Software Engineer at Displayr. In 2008, they also briefly worked as a Contractor at LexisNexis.
Oliver Bock obtained a BSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Sydney, where they attended from 1990 to 1993. Oliver also attended Newington College, Stanmore, but no specific years or degrees were mentioned for this educational institution.
