Distributed Solar Development
Brandon Abasolo serves as the Director of Proposals at Distributed Solar Development, LLC since August 2020, where responsibilities include writing RFP responses and guiding proposal development for commercial-scale solar, battery storage, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects. Prior to this, Brandon held several key roles at Tesla from March 2017 to July 2020, including Sr. Proposal Manager and Sr. Proposal Writer, managing the submission of over 150 proposals, securing awards from notable customers, and collaborating with various business units on strategy. Earlier experience includes roles at SolarCity as Sr. Proposal Writer, contributing to over 40 proposals, and positions as Grants Associate at Kaplan Clean Tech and CleanEdison, where Brandon coordinated grant applications for workforce development projects. Brandon began the professional journey as a Government Relations Intern and Assistant Statistician, demonstrating a solid background in proposal management and environmental initiatives. Brandon graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from Williams College in 2013.
