Jessica Lindsay, M. Ed has a diverse work experience that spans across different fields. Jessica began their career in 2001 as an Elementary School Teacher at Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB). After 16 years, they transitioned into the role of a School Principal at HWDSB in 2017. Jessica held this position until May 2023. Concurrently, Jessica started their own business as the Owner, CEO, and Entrepreneur of White Oaks Conference Resort & Spa from October 2013 to September 2016. Jessica then joined the District School Board of Niagara as a School Principal in January 2018. Recently, they have taken on the role of a Business Development Representative at AlayaCare, starting in September 2023.
Jessica Lindsay, M. Ed, obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English from McMaster University from 1995 to 1999. From 2000 to 2002, they pursued a Master of Education in Administration from the University of New Brunswick. Presently, they are pursuing the Supervisory Officer's Qualification Program in Superintendency and Educational System Administration at Lakehead University, with anticipated completion in 2023. Before attending university, from 1993 to 1995, they obtained their High School Diploma from Ridley College.

The DSBN is home to 79 elementary schools and 17secondary schools in the 12 municipalities that make up the Niagara Region. We are proud to serve over 39,000 students each year. The DSBN is governed by a Board of 11 elected trustees. Providing students with a quality public education that empowers them with the knowledge and desire to chase their dreams requires a continuous team effort. It demands that our teachers, principals, support staff, senior administration and trustees maintain an unwavering focus on student learning.
