Jackson Matsen is an accomplished Sr. Structures Engineer at Divergent since January 2022, with prior experience as a Stress Analyst at Northrop Grumman, where responsibilities included MRB ship-side stress support and development of scripting tools for efficiency. A background in CFD engineering as an intern at Northrop Grumman involved performing grid refinement studies for UAV applications. Jackson's early career included roles as a Technical Intern at Northrop Grumman and Autoliv, focusing on CAD modeling and quality/process engineering. Research experience includes working on fatigue effects of Hastelloy-X at Utah State University, where Jackson also served as an engineering ambassador and a student volunteer for Engineers Without Borders USA. Jackson holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Utah State University.
