Richard Kingston

Richard Kingston is an experienced roboticist with a comprehensive background in automation and metrology. Currently serving as a Technical Fellow Roboticist and Lead Roboticist at Divergent since September 2019, Kingston previously worked as an Automation Engineer at INSPHERE Ltd from January 2018 to September 2019 and as Director of Kingston Technical Services from July 2017 to September 2019. Kingston's earlier roles include Product Line Specialist for Robotics and Automation at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence and Technical Specialist - Robotics at the Manufacturing Technology Centre, where significant contributions were made to robotics solutions. Additionally, experience as an Engineer at Nikon Metrology involved integrating robots with metrology systems. Richard Kingston earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive Engineering from Loughborough University between 1990 and 1994.
