Noah Alorwu is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in backend engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Backend Engineer at Marygold & Co since October 2021, Noah also contributes as a member and Android Developer at ICT4D.at and participates on the Python Program Committee at Geekle.us. Noah holds memberships with the Django Software Foundation and the Python Software Foundation as a Fellow. In addition, Noah has played a significant role in community and educational initiatives, including serving as Online and Marketing Lead at Barcamp Kumasi and as an Executive Board Member and Co-organizer for PyCon Africa. Noah co-founded Python Ghana and previously held the position of Head of Marketing and Communications at Practical Education Network. Noah completed an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Kumasi Technical University in 2018.

Development of Django is supported by an independent foundation established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Like most open-source foundations, the goal of the Django Software Foundation is to promote, support, and advance its open-source project: in our case, the Django Web framework.
