DKB, one of Germany's largest direct banks serving millions of customers, is transitioning its products, applications, and services to AWS. Here at DKB Code Factory we are supporting our mothership in hiring a talented DevOps Engineer to support us in this and become part of one of our cross-functional product teams at DKB Code Factory. In this role, you'll bring in your expertise to support the migration and manage the products based in the cloud. You'll help us achieve faster deployments, increased efficiency, and a more scalable foundation for DKB's innovative banking solutions.

Responsibilities:

• You'll be the go-to person for managing products / services / applications on our cloud infrastructure with a common pipeline. This includes leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Collaboration is key! You'll work closely with product teams to automate our software delivery pipeline and ensure continuous delivery.
• You're passionate about deploying and scaling containerized microservices using Docker and Kubernetes. Security is a priority, so experience with container security is a plus.
• You understand the importance of proactive monitoring with tools like Prometheus / Grafana / open search. Additionally, you have experience with system automation tools like Ansible, Terraform or Crossplane (or a willingness to learn). 
• Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban development methodologies is a plus.

Following qualifications would be in line with our desired profile for this position:

• You have a solid understanding of DevOps culture and cloud infrastructure best practices.
• Prior experience in software development is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines is essential. Experience with a common pipeline or common tools like common helm charts is a plus! 
• Comfort with the Linux command line is necessary.
• Experience with GitLab and a commitment to code review practices are important.
• Bonus: German skills - if not present yet, willingness to learn is a plus.
• You're passionate about your work, but also know how to enjoy your free time!
