Denise Lebeau-Marianna

Denise Lebeau-Marianna is a highly experienced legal professional specializing in information technology and data protection law. Currently serving as IPT Location Head and Avocat Associée at DLA Piper since July 2017, Denise leads the IPT Data Protection Practice and holds the EuroPrise Legal Expert and CIPP/E certifications. Previously, Denise was a Partner at Baker & McKenzie Paris from June 2000 to June 2017, where expertise included advising clients on IT, e-commerce, and internet law, as well as handling contentious and transactional matters. Denise started legal career as Local Partner and Avocate collaboratrice at Baker & McKenzie from February 1995 to May 2000, and held positions as in-house counsel at Syseca and auditor at Deloitte & Touche earlier in career. Educational background includes a Certificat d'Aptitude à la Profession d'Avocat from Ecole de Formation du Barreau de Paris, a Master's in Information Technologies, Telecommunication and Internet Law from Paris-Sud University, an International Management Degree from ESSEC Business School, and a Master's in International Private Law from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University.
