Tara Smith

Tara Smith is a knowledgeable Public Health Analyst with extensive experience in the field, currently employed at ICF since May 2022 and previously at DLH Corporation since August 2021. Tara has held multiple roles within public health, including a position at ICF from June 2019 to August 2021 and as an ORISE Fellow at the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education from August 2017 to May 2019. Prior experience includes a volunteer role at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and various support positions in administrative assistance and animal care. Tara holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Master of Science in Microbiology from Georgia State University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Furman University.
