Marisa Arcuri, CHRL has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Marisa is currently serving as the Human Resources Director (Global Head of HR) at DMC Mining Services since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Human Resources Manager (Digital Transformation) at the same company from November 2020 to May 2022. Marisa also had experience as the Acting Director and Lead, Human Resources Business Partner from December 2019 to November 2020 and April 2019 to December 2019 respectively. Before joining DMC Mining Services, they worked at Rolark Stainless Steel Inc. as a Human Resources Generalist from March 2013 to November 2017. Prior to that, they served as a Human Resources Specialist at CROWN Metal Packaging Canada LP from June 2007 to March 2013. Marisa started their career as a Human Resources Analyst at Ganz from May 2005 to June 2007 and worked as a Senior Group Benefits Analyst at Morneau Shepell from November 1997 to May 2001.
Marisa Arcuri, CHRL obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Criminology from the University of Toronto in 1992. Marisa also holds a certification in Human Resources Management with Honours.

In its second year in business, it started building the Macassa Mine shaft, for which, it still holds the record for the deepest single-lift timbered shaft in the world. 1992 DMC developed the Long Round Concept for shaft sinking, an innovation that improved productivity by 20%. 2013 The company initiated and developed leading edge, shaft sinking technology using Shaft Boring Roadheaders (SBRs) designed and built in Germany for a twin shaft project in Canada. 2015 DMC's Jansen team performed the first ever installation of shaft tubing using a robotic arm called the Blairmore Ring Erector (BRE). 2019 First full completion of 2 x 1000 metre BHP Billiton’s Jansen Shaft project using SBR technology.
