Barbalata Livia began their work experience in 1989 as a Design Engineer at Menarom SA Galati in Romania. Barbalata later became the Chief of the design office from August 1997 to September 1999. In 2002, Livia joined DMT Marine Equipment as a Design Engineer and then transitioned to become a Sales Manager in October 2004. Finally, they assumed the role of Head of Project Management in January 2010 at the same company.
Barbalata Livia obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Dunarea de Jos University Galati. Barbalata pursued this degree from 1981 to 1986.
