Sari Leppanen

Sari Leppanen currently serves as the CIO & CTO at DNA Oyj since August 2023 and holds a position as a Board Member at Fennia and Digia Plc. As a Founding Board Member of Koherent since February 2019, Sari has also contributed as EVP and Chief Information Officer at Aktia from August 2021 to July 2023 and as Group CIO at 3 Step IT from September 2017 to August 2021, where responsibilities included strategic IT delivery for a joint venture with BNP Paribas. Previous roles include leadership positions at Telia Company and Nokia, along with advisory contributions to VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. Sari holds a PhD in Computer Science from Tampere University of Technology and a Master of Science from the University of Helsinki, complemented by a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mercuria Business College.
