Hugo Casqueiro

Hugo Casqueiro has extensive work experience in the field of IT and software development. Hugo is currently working as a Solutions Architect at DocDigitizer since 2021. Prior to this, they served as an IT Architect at Lusitania from 2009 to 2021, where they were responsible for leading architecture and development teams, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and implementing well-known object-oriented patterns for improved testability and maintenance. Hugo also worked as a Senior Consultant at Segula Technologies in 2008 and a Senior Software Developer at PT-SI from 2008 to 2009, where they contributed to the implementation of new functionalities in web applications and performed reverse engineering and documentation of applications.

In addition, Hugo has held the positions of Senior Technical Consultant at Altrantec from 2005 to 2008, Senior Web Developer at Axa from 2005 to 2008, Systems Engineer, Developer, and Trainer at Tecnidata from 2000 to 2005, Network Support and Systems Administrator at Infordesporto/PT Multimédia from 1995 to 2000, and completed an internship and provided support assistance to banking system peripherals at Luma in 1995.

Throughout their career, Hugo has gained expertise in various technologies including ASP.Net, C#, SQL, UML, VB.Net, and has experience managing servers and developing web applications.

Hugo Casqueiro attended Universidade Independente from 1999 to 2005, where they studied electrical engineering and telecommunications. Hugo did not obtain a degree from this institution. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained various certifications and completed courses in different areas. These include becoming an Associate Web Developer on Platform Version 11 from OutSystems in June 2019, becoming a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in May 2018, completing a course on DevOps Foundations: Infrastructure Automation from Lynda.com in January 2018, obtaining the DevOps Foundation Certification from the DevOps Institute in December 2017, and completing various other courses in topics such as cloud computing, software architecture, and Microsoft technology.
