Jonathan Matthies

Jonathan Matthies has been working in the technology industry since 1995. Jonathan'sfirst role was as a Technical Support Agent at Hewlett Packard, where they provided technical support for thirty daily phone calls from HP Vectra and Kayak corporate clients. Jonathan also developed email support processes and procedures, including an email categorization system, a completed email archival system in CC:Mail, and a monthly email tracking system in coordination with senior engineering and support staff as the sole email support staff. In 1999, Jonathan moved to Service Metrics, a small Boulder-based Internet Starup, as a Programmer. In 2000, they took on the role of Senior Systems Developer at Townley & Associates, where they provided technical support for a Point of Sale (POS), inventory, and back office software suite written in HP Eloquence to twenty daily retail business users over email, fax, and phone. In 2012, Jonathan joined VMware as an Escalation Engineer SDK & vPostgres Support and an Escalation Engineer. In 2016, they moved to Sovrn Holdings, Inc. where they held the roles of Senior Site Reliability Engineer and Systems Administrator. Jonathan'smost recent role is Senior DevOps Engineer at Documoto, Inc., which they began in 2022.

Jonathan Matthies attended Colorado State University from 1993 to 1994. In 2019, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
