George Hudgens

George Hudgens is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the VP of People and Work Innovation at Dolby Laboratories since May 2010, focusing on talent strategy, workforce planning, and the future of work through AI and advanced automation. Previously, George held roles as Sr. Director and Director of HR Operations at Dolby, leading global people operations and re-engineering HR processes. Prior to Dolby, George served as Director of HR Systems and Business Intelligence at Sun Microsystems, where a transition from Oracle HCM to Workday was architected. Earlier experience includes leadership roles in business intelligence and data warehousing at Quovera and Covansys, as well as a systems analyst role at Medicus Systems Corp. George holds a B.S.E. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.
