Pau Arumi

Pau Arumi is a seasoned professional in sound technology with extensive experience in both industry and academia. Currently serving as the Director of Entertainment Sound Technology at Dolby Laboratories since July 2012, Pau manages Atmos content creation engineering teams in Barcelona and leads the technology strategy for Atmos content creation. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Sound Technology at Dolby, Associate Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and Technology Manager at imm sound, where development for 3D audio products was overseen. Pau is also a core developer of CLAM, contributing significantly to audio technology and research in real-time audio processing. Educational credentials include a PhD in Computer Science focusing on real-time audio processing and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
