Peter Michaelian

Peter Michaelian is an experienced design professional, currently serving as Vice President of Experience & Design and Head of Design at Dolby Laboratories since February 2014. Previously, Peter held the position of Creative Director and Associate Creative Director at frog from January 2010 to February 2014. Peter has also contributed to academia as a Visiting Professor of Industrial Design at California College of the Arts in late 2010, and taught design at UC Berkeley and The Cooper Union. Earlier career roles include Senior Product Designer and Product Design Engineer at Smart Design. Peter holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Product Design) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
