Matthew Abernathy

Matthew Abernathy serves as the Director of Store Operations at Dollar General since May 2005, where responsibilities include developing new enhancements and driving excellence in various operational initiatives to enhance company performance. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Regional Director at Houchens Industries / Houchens Food Group from April 1998 to May 2005, and previously worked as a manager. Matthew holds an Associate of Science degree in Architecture from Pennsylvania College of Technology, earned between 1992 and 1994.
