Michael Acierno is an experienced professional in business development and corporate relations, currently serving in the Southeast region for DOMAINE since March 2022, focusing on wine logistics and sales. Previously, Acierno held various positions, including Corporate Development & Financial Relations at ECO Transit, LLC, and Manager at Acierno & Company, which specializes in commercial flooring. As Owner of Wine Knows Society, LLC, Acierno provided marketing expertise within the wine sector, particularly in retail environments. Acierno has also served as Regional Sales Director for Hidalgo Imports and Customer Development Specialist at Gordon Food Service. Additional experience includes equity trading and directorship at Fountain Rock Capital, as well as advisory roles for emerging growth companies at HKS Holdings and corporate development at First American Railways. In 1998 Domaine’s founder worked at a fine wine retail shop and quickly became aware of the ways in which retailers struggled to support their largest clients. He began filling in the gaps through inventory and organizational services which allowed the clients to focus on the more enjoyable aspects of collecting. This passion for wine and first-class customer service was so inspiring that his business grew quickly to include other services. Those initial services are still at the core of our work, and we have grown to offer support throughout the entire wine collecting lifecycle. We partner with new and established wine collectors to grow, sell, organize, move, store and protect their collections. Our goal is to allow everyone to enjoy their collection with ease and peace of mind. The company has three unified divisions: Advisory, Storage and Transportation. We currently have over 2 million bottles in storage within our nationwide network of facilities in St. Louis, Chicago, New York, Washington D.C. and Napa. Domaine hires dynamic people.
