Greg Pirie has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the telecommunications and technology industry. Greg started their career at KTUU-TV Channel2 as an Engineer, where they gained experience in maintaining analog and digital video production equipment. Greg then worked as a Technician at the Federal Aviation Administration before joining AT&T as a Toll Center and Outside Plant Technician.
Greg later joined Alaska Communications as a Transport and Integration Engineer, where they specialized in network design and implementation. Greg then worked at Integral Access as a Customer Technical Support Engineer and Sales Engineer. Following that, they served as a Network Administrator for Internet Implementation at General Communication, Inc. (GCI).
Greg then joined ENDAVO as an IP Engineer, specializing in triple play service delivery and fiber-based networks. Greg was responsible for network troubleshooting, maintenance, and integration of various services. Greg also worked at KPU Telecommunications as an Inside Plant Foreman, overseeing daily workflow, training, and budgeting.
Greg's career progressed further at CenturyLink, where they held the position of Engineer II. Currently, they are working as a Technical Support Engineer at Domo, Inc. In this role, they are a part of a team of engineers and is responsible for providing technical support.
Throughout their career, Greg has gained expertise in areas such as network troubleshooting, IP engineering, network design and implementation, technical support, and team management.
Greg Pirie attended Tanana Valley Community College, University of Alaska, Fairbanks Alaska from 1984 to 1985. Greg obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering during their time there.
