Michael Martineau has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Michael started their career at American Pioneer Financial, where they worked as a Software Developer and developed innovative web technology for the mortgage industry. Michael then moved on to Web Source One, where they worked as an Independent Web Developer/Consultant, specializing in the development of mission-critical online business applications.
In 2007, Michael co-founded Family Pursuit, an online genealogy database. Michael played a crucial role in raising initial investment capital and acted as the product development director and technical team lead. Michael developed core web applications using Java and a multi-tier architecture deployed on Linux with Tomcat, Hibernate, and MySQL.
After their tenure at Family Pursuit, Michael joined Simplifile as a Java Software Engineer. Michael was a major contributor to the design, architecture, and development of the core system. Michael also influenced the decision to use the Spring framework for better modularity and testability. During their time at Simplifile, they promoted team unity, communication, and cooperation in setting and accomplishing goals.
In 2012, Michael joined W.J. Bradley Mortgage Capital, LLC as a Senior Java Engineer. Michael later took on the role of Platform Manager, where they managed the platform's operations. In 2013, they joined Domo, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer.
Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated their expertise in software development, particularly in Java and web technologies. Michael has a strong background in developing scalable and innovative solutions, as well as leading teams and making strategic decisions.
Michael Martineau received an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree from Northland Pioneer College in 1999. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering at Brigham Young University, completing it in 2006.
