Tyler Tolley's work experience begins in 2007 when they worked as a Service Desk Consultant at Utah State University. In 2008, they transitioned to a role as a Software Tester at Space Dynamics Laboratory. In 2009, they interned as a Software Intern at Clearwater Analytics. Starting from 2010, Tyler worked at Clearwater Analytics as a Software Developer Engineer, Team Lead. In this role, they led various teams and was responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web services and tools. Tyler also played a key role in evaluating Cassandra as a potential replacement for SQL Server within the company. In 2015, Tyler joined Scentsy, Inc. as a Senior Software Developer. Here, they were involved in integrating international payment services, developing a centralized logging standard, and creating a .NET port of the dropwizard/metrics Java library. Finally, in 2016, Tyler joined Domo, Inc. and progressed from a Senior Software Engineer to a Senior Software Engineer Lead. In October 2022, they were promoted to the position of Software Engineering Manager.
