Karla Roeber is vice president of public and government affairs, where she serves as a liaison to government officials and media representatives at the local, state, and national levels and to visiting dignitaries from around the globe. She and her team share the Danforth Center's mission, vision, and progress to the broader public through traditional and digital media. Prior to joining the Danforth Center in 2008, she was principal of Karla Goldstein & Associates, Inc., a boutique public relations agency serving nonprofit and small business clients. She also served as district director to U.S. Senator John C. Danforth. Founded in 1998, the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center is a not-for-profit research institute with a mission to improve the human condition through plant science.
