Samiksha Kothari is an accomplished design leader currently serving as Head of Design for Dasher + Logistics at DoorDash since April 2023, overseeing design teams focused on enhancing various user experiences. Previously, Samiksha held the position of Product Design Leadership at Meta's Reality Labs from September 2020 to April 2023, where responsibilities included leading a team dedicated to creating innovative products that facilitate remote work. Prior to that, Samiksha was Head of Design for Rider at Uber, managing the rider experience team and driving advancements in global transportation from November 2015 to August 2020. Earlier in the career, Samiksha served as Senior Design Manager and Lead Experience Designer at Uber and Yahoo, respectively, focusing on core frameworks and user experience strategies. Samiksha holds an M.Des in Interaction Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a BFA in Applied Arts from Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Arts.

They were founded on a mission to alleviate delivery orders for small businesses that could not keep up with consumer demand. They wanted to make sure to encompass all restaurants' needs in the area so quickly began to prototype an application that provided the best delivery experience within their small community in Palo Alto. Today, they are continuing to work hard to deliver convenience at your doorstep. While meeting the needs of consumers, they are also able to generate news ways for people to earn, work, and live through food delivery and their last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce.
