Nicky Hendriks is a versatile professional with extensive experience in various sectors, including event management, hospitality, and technical services. Currently serving as a Travelguide at Access Anywhere since August 2023, Nicky also operates as a freelancer under the name Dominus Lucis, providing event support, lighting technology, and telecommunications services since May 2018. Nicky's technical skills are showcased as a freelance lighting technician at Doornroosje, delivering visual support during concerts while also contributing to dance productions. Previous roles include In-Home Monteur at KPN, where responsibilities involved copper and fiber optic infrastructure, as well as a warehouse employee at Olympia during the pandemic. Doornroosje
Doornroosje is hét poppodium van Nijmegen en omstreken. Zij bestaat sinds 1968 en heeft in 2014 een nieuw gebouw betrokken aan het Stationsplein met twee zalen, met een capaciteit van respectievelijk 1.100 en 400 bezoekers. Tevens beheert zij sinds 2008 ook het kleinere, in het centrum van Nijmegen gelegen, poppodium Merleyn (200 bezoekers). Doornroosje heeft een voornamelijk regionale popfunctie en Merleyn vooral een lokale. Samen bieden de beide podia, op het gebied van concerten en dance events, het totale palet van kleinere en opkomende tot nationale en internationale artiesten aan. Doornroosje programmeert ruim 400 activiteiten per jaar en bereikt daarmee jaarlijks ongeveer 250.000 bezoekers. Er werken momenteel 19 vaste krachten, 63 payroll-krachten en zo’n 97 vrijwilligers. Doornroosje beheert tevens het Openluchttheater de Goffert en oefenruimtes op de locaties Limos en Koopvaart. --- Doornroosje organises concerts and dance events at Poppodium Doornroosje, Muziek- en Danscafé Merleyn and other locations around Nijmegen, including arthouse LUX, Concertgebouw De Vereeniging, De Lindenberg and Park Brakkenstein. We also take care of the open-air venue Openluchttheater de Goffert, and the Merleyn rehearsal rooms.
