Alex Hu

Alex Hu currently serves as the VP of Finance at Doppel, a company focused on combating social engineering threats using autonomous AI agents, supported by notable investors such as a16z and Bessemer Venture Partners. Prior to this role, Alex was the VP of Strategic Finance at BigID, where responsibilities included managing financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and leading the company through significant growth phases, including a successful $60M Series E funding round. Alex also spent five years at Dataiku as VP of Finance, contributing to the company's expansion from $10M to over $230M in annual recurring revenue. Earlier experience includes positions at Credit Suisse and Avondale Partners, where equity research on software and technology sectors was conducted. Alex holds Master's degrees in Finance and Accounting from Washington University in St. Louis and UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, respectively.
