Aixa A. has a long history of work experience. From 2000 to 2017, they have held various positions in a number of organizations. Aixa started their career as a Volunteer at Rhode Island Service Alliance in 2000, followed by a role as the Mt. Hope Tech Program Coordinator at Swearer Center for Public Service/Brown University and a Communications and Technology Coordinator at New Urban Arts in 2001. In 2004, they became the Learning Director at The Otter Group. In 2006, they joined athenahealth as a Senior Consultant, athenaCare and Learning & Development Manager. In 2013, they moved to Advanced Practice Strategies (APS) as Director Client Services. In 2016, they were the Senior Director at Inferscience, and in 2017 they became the VP Customer Success at Dorsata.

Aixa A. attended Brown University from 1996 to 2000, where they received an A.B. in Visual Art and Ethnic studies. Aixa then attended Harvard Graduate School of Education from 2003 to 2004, where they received an Ed.M. in Education, Innovation, and Technology. Additionally, Aixa A. has obtained certifications from Pragmatic Marketing in Build and Foundations.
