Aaron Sachowitz is a seasoned academic and professional with extensive experience in media technologies and intercultural communication. Currently serving as a Professor of Media Technologies and Culture and various administrative roles at Saint Mary's College of California since September 2009, Aaron has also consulted for San Francisco State University's HSI Initiatives Workgroup and held an American Council on Education Fellowship. As a co-founder and board secretary of Doselva S.A. since March 2017, Aaron maintains a commitment to community engagement. Previous leadership roles include Chair and Vice-Chair positions at COLAGE, contributing to advocacy and organizational development. Aaron holds a PhD and MA in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa, along with a BA in Media Studies from Pomona College.
